why is sugar in most things you consume now

i saw a comment the other day by someone who advised another person on how to lose weight fast, he said avoid both sugar and carbs completely.....but sugar and carbs are in virtually everything you eat and drink now so how can you avoid it?

You should eat some carbs, just not the ones we get from white flour, like bread and pasta. Sugar from fruit is ok, but not cane sugar.

Try to eat a lot of fresh fruit, veggies, and lean protein.
