Was anyone else not allowed to have soda and candy growing up?

🙋🏻‍♀. I had a little candy at Easter and bought some candy cigarettes at a mom and pop store once, but soda and candy were seen as luxuries that we couldn’t afford most of the time. Had Coke for the first time in high school and the burn to my throat…🤯
