Is it really important?

I got sent a picture of someone's dinner and to me it looked like heartattack on the plate.
It's too much food 4 Yorkshire puddings, 5 roast potatoes a large slab of cauliflower cheese, broccoli and cabbage, lots of. Roast pork and coated in gravy.

I showed the photo to my mum, I said look how much food is on this plate isn't that a lot of food?
She immediately asks me is that your partners dinner so I said no...
I then repeated and said is that too much or is that just me? So she repeated is it your partners and I said no, does it matter?
I'm showing you the food?

I wasn't being secretive but sometimes I find things on the Internet and show my mum.

I know I might have been abrupt but does it matter if that's his food or a random does that change the quantity?

What does it actually matter to you? Some people have high metabolisms, like athletes and body builders especially, and require a lot of calories and carbs to endure strenuous workouts. Others, like my oldest brother, are twig thin and require a lot of calories and carbs to keep some weight on, they burn food like they're a furnace. Who are you to judge what people eat?

@NativePortlander1970 and in the instance of a person who is already over weight. Claiming they want to lose weight, have been advised by their Dr to lose weight. And are having issues with health related to their weight...?

If someone sent you a picture of their food and you have that knowledge there is no way that you or I could ever look at that plate and say delicious. It's a gross amount of food. And highly not necessary.

Fair enough you had a meal and returned for seconds but making a mountain of a plate is a recipe for disaster.

I feel very strongly about this... And I'm judging simply because the plate doesn't look at all appetising.
