Sorry Americans - but biscuits and gravy looks like something that came out of the business end of a pig

@walabby Oh, you never want biscuits and gravy from a diner anywhere. Homemade is the way to introduce yourself to it.

@LordShadowfire That's the conclusion that I came to... The diner's offering was pretty terrible. I made myself eat it as punishment for not doing more research.. XD
The best diner brekky that I had in the US was at Dennys, but they are closing/have closed down.. :(

@walabby Honestly, if you're even halfway decent of a cook, you can find a recipe online to follow and make yourself far superior biscuits and gravy. This isn't because diner cooks are necessarily bad at what they do. It's because short order cooks don't have time to be bothered with quality cooking.

@walabby We still have a Denny's close by.

My favorite thing to eat a Denny's is their chef salad with ranch dressing.@walabby
