Pre Covid Lunches

Before covid teams at my work would go out for lunch somewhere , usually this buffet near the office. It was fun then. It's like a morgue now, I miss the days when we had fun!

that is funny I did the same thing pre covid. i work remote now but I am in tech sales even without covid I would have eventually been a remote employee. I haven't been in the same room with a co-worker more than a few times in over a decade at this point with the exception of one stretch for 2 years.

We did more sushi lunches pre covid though.

@robertsnj Are you happy or sad about it?

@Musicman that is a good question. I needed the social interaction when I was younger but I need it much less now that I am older. I may have gotten lucky in a selfish kind of way because each one fit well with what I needed at that tmie. I am ok with the sparse social interaction with co-workers today.

@Musicman if i remember you own your own business? I bet you make way more money than I do. I can't complain but do not stack up to either skilled workers who work with hands on specialized things (like a mechanic) or small business owerns

@robertsnj I owned a residential construction company. These days though I am retired.
