Do you think Subway introduced the slicing meat in store campaign just to slice meat thinner and reduce how much actually gets on a sandwich?

Their marketing people will say it is because customer have a perception that slicing meat in the store makes it seem fresher. It also counters the Jersey Mike's claim to fame.

I believe it makes a slice of deli meat thinner than it was before they instituted slicing. I had some turkey sandwiches in which I had to look for the meat and when I found it, I could see through it as it was so think that it as translucent.

A clever marketing ploy for shrinkflation and another kick in the nuts from Bidenomics

I have noticed that the toothpaste that we normally buy, is in a smaller tube and seems to have air in it so it doesn't last as long.
Subway shrunk everything and their meat quality went downhill as well.. this of course is Biden's fault because if Trump were in office than our sandwiches would be way fatter!!

(Im joking but only half joking 😅) smh

The fact that all the stores seem to be owned by Arabs makes me even less inclined to continue to be ripped off. I am dumping Subway

The best thing would be to put a whole ham on that sandwich.
