Have You Ever Tried Manuka Honey? Did It Alter Your Sense of Taste?

I had about a half-tablespoon of it while making a late breakfast. Ate about 15 minutes later and the food did not taste good.

@cherokeepatti

Yeah they are expensive, isn’t there a very short span which they feed on it.

Meant to have many health benefits. 🍯 🐝

@Fairydust I read that the bees feed on tea tree flowers which is why they have a short feeding season.

Yes
Brought back two jars of it a few years ago and had no problems with it
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@antonioioio Do you remember the medical grade strength? I think that might make a big difference.

You about to get hit by an "Oi, sheila, get over here missy." by some random Aussie.
SirAhmed · 31-35, M
I have been using it for years and no it doesn't alter any of my taste sense
Eklipse · F
Too sweet for me. It's texture is kinda weird too.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@Eklipse Didn’t get it for the flavor, it is medical grade meant for healing.
HumanEarth · 56-60, F
Yes I have and I don't remember if it tasted any different
