Do Italian really really act like this

Oh Instagram there is this man he has a roommate and he is Italian. But some reason he gets so piss off when this guy breaks noodles. He puts like ice in wine and he cuts noodles with scissors just to get a reaction from his roommate

I live in New Jersey which has a large Italian-American population. The ones I live near, and there is a lot of them are not as dramatic as your description or as they are portrayed in movies however in New Jersey at least:

1) They are often very Catholic
2) they love to cook and take preparing sauces to pasta to another level
3) They are much more likely to embrace the idea of an extended family and community---intereting the same way that people from Mexico and Latin America do
4) If you go back 1-2 generations, the ones that are over 50 are more likely to speak Italian as a seocnd language.
Many of the ones I know are annoyed or find those things ridiculous but they don't go crazy about them. Lol.

It’s much easier to break noodles. Never knew that would be an issue
