Is a Hot Dog a Sandwich ?

@GlitterEater In my opinion a hamburger isn't a sandwich. A sandwich consists of 2 slices of bread with a filling - unless you're Scandinavian, in which case you can have an open sandwich on just one slice of bread.

@GlitterEater The Earl of Sandwich was gambling and put some meat between 2 slices of bread

@ArtieKat And you think that was the first sandwich? Like actually the first sandwich and not the name for it?

@GlitterEater That's the legend. I know I'm an ageing gentleman but I wasn't around in 1762 to prove it one way or the other.
