No. I prefer fried foods on that day most of the time. Like fried chicken or pork chops. Sometimes roasted.

My hub is not a roast person and I'm not really worried about it. He likes steak. When he bbqs steak I throw a chicken breast on.

No, I almost had one at work this morning when my boss dared me to insult her
I told her that I wouldn't only because she's too sensitive
She swore that she can handle it
But
She kept on egging me
So
I fired, what I thought was a very mild roast

That ended that
Quickly
With her mad at me

No because of the price of beef. These days I鈥檒l buy a chuck steak and have it maybe once a month, make it like roast with veggies. When I was growing up we had chuck roast with veggies at least twice a month.

If I didn't work a 9-5 and was a happy homemaker, I'd like to think I would.

I can't remember the last time tbh.
I grew up having roasts every sunday though.

@ChipmunkErnie But once in a while I get ambitious and make a pot roast with onions and carrots and potatoes -- and then use the left-overs to make stew.
I don鈥檛. But I grew up with Sunday suppers where my family ate together. I think that stopped as a regular thing once I left home. My parents still attended Mass, but my siblings no longer had to go.
I grew up on them, not every sunday, thank Gaia, my mother turned them into shoe leather.

@NativePortlander1970 We used to make tacos every Sunday. We would all pitch in.
