@DrWatson There is a story about person with no food who cooked his clothing and asked God to make it food and it turned into that dish. It's probably really just because it's shredded and looks like ripped clothes if you squint.

@DrWatson It's been developed and perfected in Cuba, but it originates in Spain. It was often cooked by Jewish families and eaten on the Sabbath.
