I wish so much of what I like to eat wasn’t poisonous to my dog…I’d love to share a bit of each meal with him 😔

@Wallflow3r Noname liked fruits and veggies too, loved apples the most.

@Zaphod42 When I was a kid during the late 70's in Oregon, we had a pure white chow mix that had her doghouse under a cherry tree, she'd get on top of her doghouse and pick off the low hangers one by one, eat around the pits, then spit them out, she got good distance too.

@Zaphod42 Have you tried raspberries yet? Those are one of Apollo's favorites!

He also ate a lemon once and wanted more, but he's a really weird dog. XD

@thepreposterouspanda I tried a couple times, but he’s not a fan. He likes sweet fruit…the blueberries have to be the giant ones perfectly ripe, he only likes honey crisp apples, etc 😂 He’s a funny lil guy 😂

@Zaphod42 Reminds me of my other dog Letty. She likes apples but only if they're organic and just the right amount of crunchy. XD She's such an odd dog haha.

@TrashCat I just worry about him. I used to let him have little bits here and there…nothing with garlic or onions, but a bit of cheese here, a couple Cheetos there, etc. for 3 months straight we were fighting elevated liver enzymes in him, and it leveled off and slowly went away when I stopped letting him have anything from my plate a couple weeks into testing and treating him.

@Zaphod42 Ahhh Is he an older dog with digestive issues or allergies?

@TrashCat At the time he was about 18 months, and he’s never had any other health issues of any kind 🤷‍♂️
Other than being the runt of the litter anyway.
