I don’t buy it for myself as it’s too much for me but it was so nice, Americans make a simple dish like chicken with rice and peas so tasty

@SW-User I have used what we didn’t finish and cubed it up and used it for chicken fried rice, it was really good that way.

@cherokeepatti you always make it a point to make healthy and tasty meals

@SW-User At my age I have to. But also with this boy, who is 16 now, he needs that too. He devours that fried rice and never gets tired of it. Have it about once a month. He doesn’t care for most restaurant food now. Never asks to go out to eat even fast food. Doesn’t like the flavors. He knows the difference now.

@cherokeepatti wow if a teenager picks homemade meals over fast food your food must be next level tasty 🤣

@SW-User He will thank me nearly every time after he finishes eating telling me how good the food is. By 4th grade he refused to eat cafeteria food and I was making his lunches every day. He doesn’t like processed cheese slices on a hamburger either, I buy real cheese and we use that instead. He went to visit his aunt and told me she had grilled hamburgers and use Kraft cheese slices on them. Said it didn’t taste good but he was too polite to complain and ate it. If you eat real food long enough you lose your appetite for the processed imitation food. Canned soups for me after I retired and had time to start making more homemade foods. And processed cheeses, anything with artificial butter flavoring, and many other things I hate the flavor of now.
