I get that. But I love this dish. It's hard for me to resist.

But I would order the osso buco if it's available because that's not often on the menu and not something you'd make at home.

@HoraceGreenley if bought at a good butcher Osso Buco can be made at home. Clam sauce has to be made with fresh ingredients, none of that canned stuff

Clams I can get fresh. That's the only way I'd eat them. I go to RI where I grew up and get clams that were just pulled out of the water.

I never tried to make osso buco at home.
