Indiana Joe's Chili

Here is my recipe. It's my own creation. It's good. It's easy, and all just store bought stuff. No need for any special machinery except for a large crockpot, a skillet and a stove
4 cans of diced tomatoes. 14.5 oz.
1 can of diced green chiles 7 oz.
1 can of tomato paste 6 oz.
1 can of dark kidney beans.
1 can of light kidney beans.
1 box of Carroll Shelby's Chilli Kit.
1 can of Tomato juice 64 oz,
1 dash of Oregano
1 small dash of ground Black peppercorn.
1 small dash of minced garlic.
1 1/2 lbs of beef roast.
1 lb of ground sausage.

Dice the beef roast into 1/2 inch cubes. (Deer is even better). Then cook in skillet and drain grease,
Put them in an 8 qt. Crockpot.
Brown 1 lb of sausage in skillet, dice into larger chunks, drain the grease.
Put it in the 8 qt. crockpot. Drain the juice from both cans of light and dark kidney beans and put them in the crock pot.
Put drained can of 7 oz. green chilis in crockpot.
Pour the entire contents of 4 cans of diced tomatoes. (Do not drain).
Open all of the internal packages of the Carroll Shelby Chili kit, and pour them into the crockpot.(ignore the directions).
Pour in the 64 Oz can of tomato juice.
Add the dash of Oregano (apprx 1/2 tsp).
Add the dash of Black Pepper( apprx 1/2 tsp).
Add the dash of minced garlic (apprx 1/2 tsp).
Have crockpot on high temp setting and stir occasionally till almost boiling. Then turn to low and eat.
I like to actually drain the grease so dry that I will actually stir around some paper towels to absorb excess grease and I will actually put about 10 or so unground peppercorn seeds into the chili. It will make your taste buds go bazzerk. Feel free to add salt and extra chili pepper to fine tune to your likings. Perhaps some saltine crackers. This chili is like the majority of my friends. Thick and chunky. (Notice my wooden spatula). It stands at a 45° angle.

Looks absolutely delicious!! Now, you've got me craving chili!! 🤭
@SW-User for some of us, it is becoming that season but for the rest of us chilly is good all year round.
SW-User
@IndianaJoes I can eat Chili all year round.....but, nothing like homemade!! ☺️
@SW-User I love to cook. Most of my meals are homemade. And I don't mind sharing those recipes for free so everybody else can enjoy also.
SW-User
@IndianaJoes That's wonderful.....homemade food is healthier for you anyways!! I appreciate the recipe share too and the pics! ☺️
@IndianaJoes
if you notice in the background of this picture you will see that I also make my own wine.
SW-User
@IndianaJoes Oh wow....I didn't notice that before.....you are full of surprises!! 😉
@SW-User on an average it is a third of the cost to cook at home as compared to buying pre-made food at restaurants. 33¢ on the dollar! Sometimes it can be considerably more expensive. I wish people would realize that and stop listening to the advertisements on TV. I can assure you that people would be more financially well off. And you mentioned how much more healthy homemade food is.... No doubt about that. I think some of the most unhealthy things we can cook at home are still more healthy than the best stuff in a restaurant. Especially if you use an air fryer. I found that air fryers give a natural salty flavor and I've cut down on my salt intake tremendously because of this.

@IndianaJoes I totally agree with you 100%!! Less visits to the doctor and less meds to be put on. I just love good ole fashioned home cooking. Everything nowadays is go go go....stop and enjoy life.
@SW-User you're so right. What gets me is the doctors say that an average life expectancy is 77 years old. It's pathetic but probably true. Walk through a cemetery sometime where people lived in the 1800s. Or look at how long some of these people live in third world countries such as the Philippines. Living to be 100 was possible even back then. And they didn't have all this processed junk food that was slowly killing them either.
SW-User
@IndianaJoes Exactly!! Look at all the side effects a lot of these meds list that doctors put you on that destroys your health.
@SW-User that is a very sad situation. I have studied this exclusively. After the scamdemic I learned a lot about it and the truth behind it. Just look how big pharma has taken over all of the television commercials with medical products and life insurance ads.(that says a lot just in itself). It's all about profit now more than saving lives.
SW-User
@IndianaJoes Every other commercial is a medication commercial or health insurance....the health insurance doesn't pay for hardly any procedure that needs to be done! Big pharma has taken over and all medications are totally overpriced! Geez....come on!
@SW-User that's just the beginning of what I could have mentioned. Once a person retires and gets on Medicare Medicaid then the government has to step in and cover a lot of those expenses with what we have been contributing to all of our lives when we had jobs. Maybe this helps you to understand why they don't want us to live 100 years. Then follow what the FDA food and drug administration forces upon the processed foods manufactures to be legal to be sold to our public. FDA is a Federal controlled Branch.
SW-User
@IndianaJoes Processed food is just horrible in itself.....sometimes if you notice you can taste that different taste if it's not homemade....aftertaste.

Yes, I understand about all these government branches.....especially the FDA and Medicare that we pay into.
@SW-User the best that we can do is to use our knowledge and teach people about the truth of this stuff. Many people are actually waking up to it and starting to understand but there are still so many people with their head stuck in the sand. There are a lot of problems coming our way as many people have noticed and I think that knowledge and Truth are the best weapons we have against it.
SW-User
@IndianaJoes Knowledge and truth are the best weapons.....you said it best there! People need to pay attention.....your health is at stake here.
@SW-User you are right. And another way for people to look at this is... You hardly ever hear the word "mad scientist" anymore. Now why could that be? Everything going on with these wars and battles in our world involve real live actual mad scientists and their friends. And their cover-ups. Right down to trying to take away certain words or create new ones. And when you trace their doings to the very root of the cause, it always comes down to one thing.. money.
SW-User
@IndianaJoes Money is the root of all evil......
@SW-User that is what a lot of people say but I'd like to mention something about that phrase. It is one of the most twisted phrases in the Bible. It really says "for the love of money is the root of all evil" 1 Timothy 6:10. many people forget to put "For the Love" on there or maybe they didn't even hear that part of it. By saying the love of money is the root of all evil clarifies it as being related to greed. Not everybody who has money is greedy. We all need it because it is a tool to show trade a workmanship. But when you start loving the money then that's where the problems come in. Why does a man need 50 sports cars when there are starving children right downtown in the city, state or country that he is governoring?
SW-User
@IndianaJoes I understand what you're saying about that....there is a difference. We do need money as a tool to exist , but there is a point where it could turn into greed.
