Figs are one of my least favorite fruits

I prefer not to eat them, if I can avoid them, but I do love figs if made into a thick paste with walnuts, and spread over the top of a block of extra sharp cheddar cheese, then drizzled with honey. The cheese slices are then served with apple slices.

I like fig Newtons but have not eaten them in a while, the modern ones don't taste the same

I'm not much of a cookie eater, but I still like "frigging newtons", -- as we called them when I was a kid. 😄 Newman's has an organic variety that's good too.

I get my figs straight off of the fig trees.
