We don't own a microwave oven.
But we do cook all of our food on a outdoor wood fire or on one of our two wood cooking stoves
We live far from a major city, So far in fact. That cellphones don't work here and most people use CB radios for wireless communications.
We can only get propane delivery only once a year, So to make it last. We use wood and coal a lot to cook and heat with.

@HumanEarth I once learned how to bake a pie in a wood box heated oven. You have to rotate the pie during baking!

@HumanEarth Haven't ever seen one of those, but I did once make solar tea...🤣🤣🤣...and I steamed a whole dinner in aluminum foil using just my dishwasher...😉
