I went to a Starbucks

In this branch they have a sign stating that 99% of their coffee is ethically sourced.

Am i weird for thinking that therefore 1% of their coffee is unethically sourced, perhaps grown with slave labour or stolen from subsistence farmers? 🤣🤣

I suppose it depends on their definition of “ethically.” The statement by itself is meaningless. Does it mean they didn’t steal it, or slaves were not used, or whatever else is unethical in obtaining coffee.
