Is American cheese the day-glo processed square of no nutritional value at all?

If so, a cheeseburger is the only place I will accept that, and that is the superior cheese to have on a burger!

Nah American cheese has a melting texture that makes it like a sauce, even fancy-ass chefs put American cheese on their burger.

However the cool move is to buy sodium citrate and melt your swiss cheese with that. When it sets, you get swiss cheese quality, American cheese texture.
