What's up with the sauce on the bottom all in a mess?
Generally I don't care for fancy or not, it doesn't matter how it looks, it matters how it taste. But every time I see a whole bunch of sauce on the bottom, but no reason other than looks, I think it looks more like a mess...
As the sauce is no on top of anything flavoring it... it doesn't look that good just messy spread on the bottom to me...
And yet, I've seen some supposedly high quality cooking shows do it on purpose as a means of being fancy.
So is there something I'm missing? Why is sauce on the bottom (and none on top) fancy? Or very little food and sauce spread everywhere fancy?
Somebody serves me a plate that looks like that, I'm going to spend half the meal licking the plate, with everybody staring at me, acting like I don't give a fuck. 😆
