Pasteurized milk taste so good

@Quimliqer In the UK it's perfectly legal but I think basically can only be sold directly by a farmer (the idea being that it has to be local because it doesn't keep so long)

@cherokeepatti We get Braum's milk occasionally, but I really like their ice cream every now and then

@TexChik Their ice cream is really good. They don’t scrimp with the ingredients like nuts, etc. Braums bought land in Oklahoma with a lot of pecan trees on it and they harvest their own pecans used in ice cream and bakery items. They have their own bakery too. I don’t buy ice cream any more unless it has gluten I it so I will leave it alone. It can be addictive for me and I don’t want to gain weight.

@Tminus6453 Ultra High Temperature. Basically pasteurisation, turned up to 11. It's pretty horrible once you've tasted fresh milk but it's shelf-stable at room temperature for a long time so good for storage in case of emergencies, going camping, etc.

@Rainandforest So UHT is basically another word for pasteurized then...yeah there are laws against selling unpasteurized only under certain circumstances can you get it

@Amylynne Milk that’s treated with hydrogen peroxide and is good on the shelf, not refrigerated, for 6 months!

@Quimliqer that sounds very similar to pasteurization where you superheat something and then cool it down quickly

@Rainandforest Here in the U.S. in a lot states, raw milk sales are illegal. 😒

@Ferise1 the only veggies milk i ever drank is soy milk
