I Ate Good Yesterday And Didn’t Gain Weight…

Probably a first for Thanksgiving. I didn’t make anything with processed sugar in it is probably why. Although I used a bit of maple syrup on the roasted butternut squash and some honey in the fruit salad dressing. That little bit of sweetness was sufficient and satisfying.

I felt sick all morning and part of the afternoon...NOT a happy tummy... so I wasn't able to eat too much...and I ruined so much food I scraped half my plate into the trash...🤣

@4meAndyou I just had a small banana, a cup of unsweetened applesauce and unsweetened almond milk earlier in the day. Was surprised eating such a big meal at 6:00 didn’t give me heartburn but I slept pretty good. No grains or regular sugar probably lessened the inflammation for me.

I tried that no sugar diet but it just makes me feel...down 🥺

@revenant seems like fresh fruit is satisfying me pretty well, the butternut squash I roasted with cinnamon, butter and a very small amount of maple syrup was better than pumpkin pie.

Same here..But I never eat much food at one setting.

@Azlotto I had a good sized plate full, plenty, and snacked on more squash and fruit salad later
