I went to a 7-hour ESL (English as a second language) conference today that was free for educators.

They provided breakfast & lunch. It was in the largest conference room/wedding reception hall in the hotel. There must’ve been at least 500 of us. When they served us lunch, I felt like I was at a wedding. The food was exquisite.

@marsbar It sounds like it. I have never been to any state or national conferences, only district level ones.

So, every three years, the district can afford to splurge a little.
