Sugar Beets

Does anyone eat them?

I bought a bunch to feed deer in the back yard and I figured I’d try one. Very good taste.

Just wondering if people normally eat them

I like regular beets but sugar beets sound delicious. I’d imagine they taste much like a white sweet potato.

They're highly nutritious, I steam them and make a nice sauce

Never had them but I love regular beets just don't eat them too often.

I eat them shredded and raw like coleslaw, they are pretty good.
