Why can't they just make it like in the picture?

Poll - Total Votes: 14
It goes flat fast
Not meant to be big and juicy anyway
They wrap them too tight
Didn't expect it to look that way anyway
They let the burger sit under the hot lights too long
Who cares, I'm hangry
The buns arrive soggy to the burger joint
The cook mooshes it

It works the same with the dating sites.

I think they're sisters!

@PhoenixPhail

May as well call those dating sites Plenty of Fat and OK Stupid.
Carissimi · F
Be fair now. Her huge breasts make the rest of her look slim ...well in proportion to her girls. 😉@nedkelly

The most likely reason, and sadly everyone falls for it, is they are ALL liers!

And society loves a good lie, so they all accept it.

So next time you go there, think about what big liers they are! Will that encourage you to buy more? 🤔

If it does encourage you to buy more, then you love liers and are a follower of society. You fit perfectly in society.

I do mean both!

@Ferise1 I could have said the exact same thing to when you first replied!

Notice, I still haven't!

This is what happens when you barely pay people and get them used to barely performing enough to keep getting barely paid
wildbill83 · 41-45, M
@th3r0n they might work at wal-mart, lowes, home depot, etc. where they just hire people to stand around; but the expense/income margin is too narrow to work in many jobs

there's also the issue of inflation & income differential; if we suddenly decide fast food workers are worth $20+ and hour, skilled/technical employees are going to start demanding more; wages increase, value of currency goes down, and after a few months that $20 has the same value as $10 did before...
Incomplet · 22-25
@wildbill83 You'll never Win the argument, especially with an "entitled" attitud brought about by specious and illogical equality arguments.

"Created Equal" Doesn't Mean "Everyone Completely Equal Now and Always"

Somebody started up that "EQUALITY" Entitlement fallacy, Social Media Propagated it and Warped it further and it struck a chord with most lazy and greedy that They should always FREELY GET EVERYTHING only because they Exist!

😂 Toss that person with that attitude into and 2nd or 3rd World Country and see how long it lasts!
th3r0n · 41-45, M
@Incomplet bro, I sometimes make as much as $250 in two hours, I’m a contractor, I do desktop support and tv mounting and networking and point of sale systems and alarms and all kinds of things

I was blessed by God with the abilities that I have and I was blessed by God to have the opportunity to do this type of work for companies that subcontract to me, and also blessed to be rated 4.9/5 with both of them

Entitled is wrong. This is not my situation and I think I’m owed something, I don’t think they should be given $15 minimum, I think it would be clever if they started those with no experience at $10, and could work up to $15 with time and consistent work and quality and speed

There’s no motivation for them now, that’s the issue we are addressing to start with

They can get another minimum wage or close job fast and easy and be making about the same, don’t have to barely work or work well to get the same pay, and raises are too little to be worth the effort

A righteous man would surely work hard even when barely paid, but unless you’re collecting a community of righteous men to be underpaid at a fast food place you need to consider the amount their employer is making and therefore get an idea of the real value of their work

If it’s quality work, the employer will flourish in that location, and people will like to eat there

Even fast food can taste good when made right, the difference is the workers and what they do or don’t do

Burger king never looks like the ad but that version is shocking. My burgers are usually more impressive and totally worthwhile. That's why I prefer burger King to Mcdonalds
PatKirby · M
@Mellowgirl

And they rotated it to its most attractive angle!
HermannFegelein · 26-30, M
@Mellowgirl I too prefer their burgers over McDonalds. I think the Big Mac is lame with that extra bun wedged into the middle. I mean sure it's got 2 patties but I never wanted more buns in my burger. It just feels like a cheap shot attempt at making their burger that much more chunkier.
wildbill83 · 41-45, M
a bit like buying a new car for $50,000+ because you saw it advertised, and ending up with a beat up shitbox ford festiva from the early 90's...🤔
PatKirby · M
@wildbill83

Kinda reminds me of that scene in Falling Down that makes Michael Douglas' character so disappointed...

I never noticed. I haven’t eaten at any of those places in many years, but I wonder how they get away with such deceptive advertising.
If they made it like the photos on the left, you'd pay at least 3 times more.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@BizSuitStacy The people who photograph food for blogs claim it takes a long time to get the food pictured just right. Like maybe up to an hour for a sandwich like a burger.
@cherokeepatti I believe it. I've heard they have photography classes to teach people how to take pictures of food.
It’s because what’s in the commercials isn’t real food.

It swells after you eat it😁
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
they hire someone that uses a pair of tweezers to place the veggies and every shred of cheese etc. to make them look perfect and fluffed up. When you actually order those foods they looked smashed and sometimes wilted lettuce etc.
InHeaven · F
Because those pictures are illusions..... to lure in customers 🤔🤔 in reality they don’t exist , 🤔🤔They just give you what exists . Idk.

I believe pictures don't do people justice... if they take them honestly (no filters).
