Being a southern gal like I am I often crave comfort food. I never had to cook growing up because my mother enjoyed cooking for her family. I used to hang around the kitchen just to talk to her and I never really knew how much I learned just by being in there with her. This morning I browned me a chuck roast and put all my ingredients in a crock pot and slow cooked it for 8 hours and my gosh it's so tender! However, I burnt my cornbread while I was on the phone so I'll just have to do without. 馃槀 And too I have a glass of iced sweet tea! Country living at it's finest!

@cherokeepatti Sam's Club rotisserie chicken is my go to! I bring mine home and bake it some more in the oven because that's the only way my family will eat it.
@PEACH4LIFE I have a glass bowl convection cooker I use to cook it more鈥t doesn鈥檛 use much electricity and doesn鈥檛 heat the house. I get a rotisserie chicken every time I go to Sam鈥檚 because I can鈥檛 buy a raw chicken and cook it for what they sell them for, they are still $4.99 here and they get customers in the door so they keep selling them for that.
