@ImpeccablyImperfect 'murica is a big country.
In Memphis i.e. Tennessee it's a traditional favourite, a staple food - hogs & hominy are grown there, and hominy is what grits are made of.
÷There is a nice short story by O'Henry - read it in my student days, that's where I read about hogs & hominy )

@JimboSaturn yes we do have hominy in some stores. No frills and Asian supermarkets. It’s canned
@ImpeccablyImperfect all Americans don’t eat grits… some states you can’t find them.. but they are missing a real treat.
