I would of course dilute it first! But is it safe? I know some people say it can't be safe if it's more than 95% and this is 96% — but it says it's to make stuff like pastries and to make other types of alcoholic drinks, so it should be fine for human consumption? I'm confused lol.

@sasanack Wow chill dude... I drank it, it was fine. I was pretty sure it would be, as I’d already asked my husband’s mother who it belonged to, I was just double-checking and some guy here actually happened to know a lot about alcohol lol. Why are you swearing at me?
@sasanack The Russian Roulette analogy dies with the fact that I pretty much knew it was safe when I drank it. There's absolutely nothing rude about asking questions on the internet, you've got to have your head screwed on the wrong way to think so. I was perfectly polite in my question and to everyone who replied.
