Filet mignon with crumbled blue cheese, steamed artichoke with lemon butter, baked potato with all the fixings, a fantastic red wine from Bordeaux followed by balsamic strawberries and tawny port.

When I was a kid we went to Maine every summer and had lobster that came in right off the dock. It's very sweet but you must get it fresh in Maine as it didn't taste the same back home in Connecticut. Needs to be very cold and looses something in shipping.

Meatball sub sounds really good right about now.

Meatball subs aren't hard to find, at least not here, though I'd say they're inconsistent, some are great but others are only alright.

Pork roast in a pressure cooker like my dad used to make. I'd eat almost the whole thing even at 8 or 9 y/o.

@BlackUnicorn its a weird pacific nw, large mussel/clam relative. its pronounced 'gooeyduk'. supposedly a bit of a delicacy, but it looks fairly to wildly terrible in the wild.
