I had zebra tarantula before, it was not grilled however. Mild flavor as far as bugs go

@Jackaloftheazuresand What other bugs have you eaten?
Jackaloftheazuresand · 26-30, M
@UnderLockDown Diving beetle, various pupa, earthworm, rhino beetle, mole cricket, scorpion, toe biter, meal worm, cicada, ant
@Jackaloftheazuresand You make a habit of this! Are you just adventurous, or is this the norm where you live?

@UnderLockDown I will eat anything that can be eaten and food is my life's passion
@Jackaloftheazuresand Were the earthworms raw? Fried? How do they taste?

@UnderLockDown I can't offer too much on that particular in the flavor department as they were given a barbecue coating but they were turned into a jerky. I can tell you about texture though. Earthworm is slightly chewy, if you've ever had a meat snack stick it's surprisingly quite similar to that mix of the meat and casing after it has been chewed up. Worms also have a gizzard so when eating them you will find grit just like getting sand in clams. I will still have to eat a raw one in the future when I can source them from a trusted area but for the time being that was what was available. The rest of what I've listed were in their pure state.
@Jackaloftheazuresand Good to know, if I ever have to eat worms I will make jerky first, texture is important.
