I just added a couple of spoonfuls of vanilla ice cream to a cup of coffee (which cooled down a while ago) that also contains a little Irish cream. Is the ice cream a mistake?

Sounds creamy.

What I am about to say below is not about ice cream in coffee, but it is about coffee, and it popped in my head so I will write about it.

When I was in college I was on a meal plan and ate at the cafeteria. I used to like to fill a mug with a little coffee, chocolate milk, then maybe hot chocolate (if I recall), some sugar, and then often a tea bag, too!

Yum!

@JoyfulSilence works for me! Tea and coffee together is something I've never tried. You've got me curious.

@Poppies

Well, it was all you can eat (and drink), so it did not cost extra!

@JoyfulSilence Tea is cheap anyway, so I might try it once!

@Poppies I do not recall if I detected the tea it or not with all that stuff in it.

At home I usually just make coffe or else tea, and never combine. Yet only because I just made one or the other. When I make tea, rather than add a bag to a mug, I add a bag to a whole teapot.
