Food Shortages in our future? Texas is wrecked.

Anyone know how much of the national food supply will be affected?

In Texas, thousands and thousands of gallons of milk had to be dumped. Baby chicks are freezing to death. Eggs are freezing and have to be thrown away. Adult chickens are freezing to death.

The entire orange crop in southern Texas is destroyed.

The entire grapefruit crop in southern Texas is ruined and can only be used for juice.

Baby calves will freeze to death or their mother's die of dehydration as soon as they are born. The water for the mothers is frozen and not available. There will be a beef shortage next year in Texas.

What grocery chains nationwide are depending on these supplies?

what you are listing out is a national catastrophe ,,,,fine...
but food will surely be supplied thru other states or imports from different countries .

@KA9ha Eventually, you are right. But there are urgent, immediate needs that are not being met. Fresh drinking water is needed desperately, and the shelves in the grocery stores are empty of almost everything but snack foods.

Below, you will see a comment from a man who works supplying free food from the food banks in emergency situations, and he says there is just no food to fill their trucks.

@4meAndyou with the price of gasoline and other fuels increasing donations are likely to drop because there isn’t as much left in budgets for that

@cherokeepatti I have been predicting, for a long time, that radical leftist policies will result in hunger, cold, and death for a LOT of Americans who are now voting it all in without realizing for what they are voting.

@4meAndyou absolute truth.. wwith power outages ,food shortages ,severe winterstorm wind and chill,,[image deleted],the population is in bad very bad shape...pizzamaker counter is bare ...with heavy orders to fulfil.

@4meAndyou This may be what it takes to get an education about the Left and what it will lead to.

@KA9ha Whatever that pizza place charged for those pizzas probably won’t pay for the energy it cost to produce them. Residents in some Texas areas are already getting some huge energy bills due to the price of natural gas rising sharply.
