I'm so sick of people going into frenzies and leaving the grocery shelves bare. I'm going to start growing my own food.

@TheArbitrator Or start stocking your pantry and freezer on a regular basis so you can survive 2-4 weeks.

@TheArbitrator @4meAndyou I stocked up pretty good in December & ordered some gluten-free flour & other things from Swanson that I couldn’t find in the local store. Every week when I shopped I would buy extra just in case of bad weather or we were in another lockdown, have a couple bins full out in the garage, and bottled water & cleaning stuff. That ice storm in October made me think maybe I better stay stocked up because no telling. I might run out of milk but I have some powdered & canned milk to cook with and calcium pills so I don’t get cramped up because of low calcium levels.

@cherokeepatti Sounds like you are all set! I just got back from shopping myself. My problem is keeping veggies and fruit in good supply. I keep frozen and canned of both, but I always run out.

@4meAndyou I bought quite a bit last week but we go through carrots, potatoes, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, limes & lemons, etc pretty quick. I can use some of my frozen veggies to cook with though, mixed veggies are good in fried rice & have several others
