Four weeks, nine pounds.

Four weeks of portion control and cutting back on breads and added sugars has brought me down 9 pounds in the first month. Based on how I've been eating still and the fact that I haven't added much exercise as yet, I think it's largely weight and not so much water weight so I'm rather pleased so far. Hoping I can do another 4 to 5 pounds next month. I want to drop at least another 30 pounds, so it's only the start of a long road.

I lost 8 pounds this week but I think I gained it back at breakfast. Stupid water weight.

Keep it up. Remember to add fiber and yogurt to make your microbiom more efficient.

@Ragnarock1276 My typical dessert that used to be ice cream or cookies or the like is now a smoothie that I use yogurt and flax seed in, as well as blended fruit (banana, apple -with peel-, lemon, strawberries, etc).
