Is it a rule set in stone that you have to use Spaghetti noodles for spaghetti Bolognese?

Couldn't I use two minute noodles or macaroni noodles instead?

No, not necessarily Spaghetti, Tagliatelle or Bavette are a popular alternative, or even completely different formats. Definitely not noodles anyway, and definitely not instant industrial crap.
