Peanut butter sandwiches

Do you make peanut butter sandwiches with something other than the usual jelly/jam?

I have had sandwiches with peanut butter and...
bananas
anchovies
bacon
hot pepper jelly
hot chili paste (I am eating that right now)

(not all at once!)

That depends on whether my behavior has fallen to the dogs...😉.

I tried peanut butter with bacon, once, because I happened to have cooked bacon ready to go, and I was not impressed.

In the bad old days, peanut butter with cold butter was one of my faves.

But now, I am even worse, and I only eat Skippy Chunky peanut butter with honey, and when I really need chocolate...very badly, I slather it with hot fudge...cold hot fudge.

I am trying very hard right now NOT to have that for lunch. 😂

@DrWatson So...after this post today, I wanted a peanut butter sandwich, and made one...but I forgot that I can only handle 1 Tablespoon of peanut butter, and I was a bit lavish with it. And instead of 1 slice of bread, 1 had two slices of bread. I was SO sick. Almost all afternoon. I actually had to go to bed to try and sleep it off...😰
