I use the surface life guidelines we received from the CDC. I wear vinyl disposable gloves when handling my groceries.

The virus CAN live on plastic for three days, so I spray plastic and styrofoam containers with a mild bleach solution...5 tablespoons bleach to 1 gallon of distilled water. You are supposed to let that sit for 3 minutes before touching. Then I just put the packages in my fridge.

Canned goods...if the virus is on metal, it can live for up to 9 days. I try to touch only the paper on cans when I remove them from my cabinets.

I haven't really had to deal with loose, fresh fruits and veggies, because I buy organic, and organic is usually in plastic.

I don't eat raw veggies at all, because they can't be cooked, and I am heating all foods to boiling point before eating.
