Yes, but you have to wash them after you slice them. Put them in a big bowl of water, and stir them around, then remove them from the bowl without dumping them out of the bowl.

@boklenholley7 when they are growing, they continue to mound dirt up as they grow taller . The dirt settles in between the leaves, and has to be washed out.
