the only taste snail has on its own is a sort of woody taste of mushrooms(not typical white button shrooms)

Texture was too off-putting for me. My nephew tried them at 6 and loves them.

I’ve tried snail but not the snail, but a yellow powder like substance which is the street name “snail” lol

if you are talking about the food ,, it is very good when not over done ,,, but it mostly tastes like garlic ,,,

I tried escargot some years ago. They tasted okay, were cooked with parsley and butter. I was lucky that they were cooked well, because I understand they can be chewy if overcooked, which would not be very pleasant.
