Do you keep a jar of bacon fat on your counter?

I do. Most cooking starts with that.

I have a jar of bacon fat but I keep it in the fridge. We had left over mashed potatoes tonight so I will probably make patties out of them and fry them up with a little bacon fat. Cheers!
