Cow farts was an Obama thing. AOC just rode his coat tails, and as a Puerto Rican, Ms. Cortez, I'm sure enjoyed/enjoys the many great Puerto Rican dishes out there. Like her I was a person of "da' Bronx, had interactions w/ Puerto Ricans, and enjoyed many of their dishes that included BEEF! Re: Mr. Yang, of Taiwanese parents. I spent three years in Asia. Saw what became of Fido & Spot! Healthy...? I'm guessing these politicians are all certified dieticians and/or health professionals, right? If they really believed what they espouse, they'd not be flipping burgers at these BBQ events. BSing their followers, they'd step away from their own rhetoric.@4meAndyou

@Success I believe that Democrats, as they used to be, were moderates. Many of them, being politicians, were dishonest, but all politicians are dishonest to a degree. That is why people wanted Trump in 2016. They were tired of the bombast, the thinly disguised greed, the graft, and the corruption.
Liberal ideas can be held by people who are conservative, and vica versa.
Socialist programs are already in existence in our country, and as long as they are affordable and work in tandem with capitalism, no one has a problem with them.
But we DO have a problem with people like AOC who propose the green new deal and then fail to mentions that you will personally be taxed $66,000 per year for the next ten years in order to pay for it, and anyone who is working will have to be taxed the same amount.
We have a problem with politicians who try to pull the wool over our eyes by refusing to say whether taxes would go up for median income Americans IF she implements a Medicare for All program. All Elizabeth Warren will admit is that your health care costs would go DOWN. She is lying by omission.
People in the present day and age who want a LOT of very impractical socialist programs larded onto our government, (which would bankrupt our country and send corporations and manufacturing fleeing, along with our jobs), typically CALL THEMSELVES Democrat Socialists. Bernie Sanders, for example, was actually trained in Moscow. He then calmed down a little and ran for office in 1985 as a socialist, and he did not prosper being honest with the American people about his views.
Then in 2016 he, and others, including AOC who worked for Sanders, decided that they could never be elected as straight up socialists, so they disguised themselves by creating a party within a party, and call themselves The Democrat Socialist party. At this time, the real American communist, John Brennan, an actual card carrying member of the communist party at one time, was working as the head of the CIA and was counselor to Obama.
Communists are, indeed, traitors to our country. Because you are so extremely young, you have never heard of the Communists 45 point plan to enact the destruction of this country from within, which was read in Congress in 1963.

"17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks.
18. Gain control of all student newspapers.
19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack."
In gaining control of the schools and the minds of the students, and creating substandard education for all, we have young people today who can't actually think too well.

@Heartlander I would say that hypocrisy covers it. As one example, Bernie Sanders who says global warming is an existentialist threat refuses to stop flying in a private jet every time he travels.
