Dirty Rice
1 package Zatarain's Dirty Rice mix
2 hot Italian sausages, fried in a frying pan on all sides till dark brown on every side
2 cups medium frozen shrimp, (optional)
2 green onions, sliced (optional)
Cook sausage until dark brown on all sides in a frying pan. Prepare Dirty rice mix according to package directions. When rice is done, remove sausages from the frying pan and add to rice mixture.
Add frozen shrimp to the same pan, and stir fry just until shrimp are thawed and pink, then add the shrimp to the rice mixture.
Serve in a bowl and garnish with green onions. Serves 4.
