Would you reduce your meat consumption if lab-grown meat or meat alternatives were cheaper and tasted good?

Back in the early 80’s I bought a pack of fish sticks, cooked some and ate them. Noticed the texture was off. Took one of the uncooked fish sticks and scraped the breading off and washed it with water. It was just like a a finely textured white sponge, no kidding. Took the package and a couple of them to the health department because they appeared to be some kind of food fraud and never heard anything back. I was really careful about fish sticks after that.
