@BlueMetalChick They're a pastry, can be made savory or sweet. Basically you make a sheet of pastry, put a thick layer of filling on it, roll it up, slice it and then bake the slices. One can also make pinwheels out of meat in place of the pastry and do a cheese, herb or other filling and roast it then slice after. Both are quite good, can do all kinds of different fillings for different results.

@UndeadPrivateer I'd eat that depending on the meat put inside. I'd probably want to put chicken or turkey with some lettuce and onion and cucumbers. Or even Italian beef, and add pickles.
