What's the most obscure food you've ever eaten?

@SW-User A friend of mine just tried to give me a bag of them. NO thank you.

@4meAndyou My auntie told me theres chicken soup that jus came off the fire - want sum, you can guess wha happened next 🤢

@SW-User My friend is half Italian, and he says his grandmother used to cook them and chew on them to remove all the meat. Of course, they also put periwinkles with shells on right into their pots of spaghetti sauce.

@4meAndyou some parts of the animal is OK not to use yeh 😷 i had 2 toes on my spoon and I did feel to make fun with them but even I'm not that much if a clown 😅 ppl like to experiment 👎️

@SW-User Some of this sort of food originated in deep poverty. If you need meat and you don't have it, the family goes to collect periwinkles. They are so small, my friend says they had to pick them out of the sauce and use a pin to remove the meat.

@4meAndyou confession I used to like them when I was young, if its the same thing im thinking of 🤔 a snail like thing all snotty and chewy 🤢 you're right tho it depends what you have access to, I watched kids in Asia somewhere they were in a forest catching tarantulas to cook and eat, the big ones as well Goliath bird eating spiders 🕷️

@SW-User I saw that on a television show, but they were people in Africa who regularly eat bugs.

@4meAndyou guess its as normal to them as we would get a pack of oreos and get to work, I do feel blessed tho 😁

@SW-User Yeah...I'm glad I'm not a Marine or a Navy Seal. That's part of their survival training.

@4meAndyou I know lol 😜 I would eat maggots no problem tho they don't have hairy legs or teeth

@SW-User I read that they pop like popcorn in the fry pan, that they are crunchy and sweet!

@4meAndyou I really like popcorn 🤤 I think I would actually jus eat popcorn tho I'm not into experimentations 2 days after I did my shopping 😅
