Is anyone else struggling?

I've relapsed recently, little do people in my personal life know. I hate how much I love it when it happens.

Struggling yes. Yet not really an eating disorder. Just say that I have a extremely high body metabolism, and have had problems maintaining body weight all my life.

@DeWayfarer Everyones struggles are valid, I'm sorry you've had to deal with that. My mom had that issue in her younger life.

@FinchFry It's even worse when it's nearly all your life. I'll be turning 60 very soon.

The past few months I've been struggling, there have been a few light's and the end of the tunnel but I never seem to get to the end unfortunately. I'm sure I will eventually. A lot of it I go through myself without others knowing.

@SW-User I hate telling people in my personal life, I feel like the girl who always whines and has issues.

@FinchFry I know what you mean. Very few people know when I'm suffering. I'm seen at the "strong" one at times as well so if I some that I'm vunerable at times people don't know how to cope so I just manage it myself which probably isn't helping the situation. Alcohol is usually go to coping mechanism, which is silly really

Have been. Not eating disorder though.
One break through I found was when I made myself focus on a positive loving person I'd known in the past. That seemed to help nudge me through.
Maybe it will help you too.
Take care. V.

@Valentine Unfortunately it was the loss of someone that set me off this time.

@FinchFry This is particularly hard. My sympathies for you. I am just emerging from two recent deaths, so, I guess I can empathise. Try to focus on positive things. Not an absolute cure of course, but it can bring some relative sanity or calm back. Good luck.

in short, yes.
Relapsed into what?
@FinchFry Oh. Just see it as a small setback and try to get back on the healthier path. ED is super hard.
FinchFry · 26-30, F
That's easier said than done, I've been on the path for months, I've just only decided to admit it to myself.
@FinchFry I know. :( Do you have anyone to help you? A friend a doc?

Relapsed into? Fast food?
FinchFry · 26-30, F
@midnightsun I have an eating disorder. I'd rather not get into details here though.

Just on the other side now

@SW-User I feel like it's never over, Recovery is just a pause button, it's always haunting me.

@FinchFry whatever it is, you have to remember, nothing is permanent, and truthfully, however low you are you cant go lower. Remember that and move on

I hate the atrocity of my illness.

I hear you
