What's the most interesting fruit you've ever tasted?
Senjed for me, also known as Russian olives, they can be eaten fresh but I've only had the dried ones. They look like a brown olive and have a dry mealy texture slightly sweet and a lemony flavor, reminds me of eating a small lemon cookie. I wish I had a bushel of them, they have health benefits including vitamins A,C,& E and are good for those with rheumatoid arthritis, a natural anti-inflammatory.
The pineapple, yes I know that seems odd but I can justify it. No other fruit has such a sweetness with such tartness and then a fading from the core. It's hard to become bored with a pineapple.
Interesting. They look similar to dates. I'm not sure what is the most interesting fruit I've eaten. Maybe Peppadew because they seem to go nicely with just about any kind of food.
