Do you put hot sauce in your ramen? 🌶️🍜🌶️

It’s usually the broth or soup base powder that is spicy or hot. The noodles itself are rather tasteless without them. @SW-User

@SW-User A fair amount of ramen is spicy, yeah. But even in spicy ramens I usually add extra. I am a bit of a hot sauce fanatic, lol.

Every once in a while, I'll make a bacthc of salsa or chile for my family, friends, and.what not, but I have VERY little myself

@UndeadPrivateer I love throwing whole sundried chillies in a stir fry I make, not only it’s a good kick but you can taste a nice flavor in between the heat, but the smaller one are real brutal.

@Straylight It's quite different, honestly. I wouldn't personally compare the two in any way beyond superficial unless you're talking top shelf instant ramen. Which tastes like just above mediocre quality restaurant ramen. Nongshim brand Shin Ramyun is what I'd advise you try in that case, and be sure to add some fixings like meat, veg, maybe a dash of vinegar, some hot sauce, etc. Ramen is pretty much never just plain in a restaurant.
