I did a couple of 100% juice fasts. The longest one was for 3 weeks where I made fresh veggie and fruit juices. After the initial detox period, I felt wonderful.

@EugeneLovesLife Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead helped me to get started. What I find challenging is to maintain a dramatic lifestyle change. I'm back to my pretty much my old eating habits, however; they're not really unhealthy. [media=http://www.fatsickandnearlydead.com/]

@zeeva70 thank you for this BIG TIME! And you seem very disciplined

@EugeneLovesLife You're welcome. I had to "get my mind right" before I started. Lol. I joined a few FB groups for support. Now I think that instead of doing something as extreme, there's tremendous value with adding a glass or two of juice in your regular diet a day or a few times a week.

I am, and have been for many years, not that I was a huge meat eater when growing up anyway.
toddr13 · 46-50, M
I have food allergies, and meat made me sluggish, so it was much less stressful to my body to go vegan than it was to continue to battle with a diet that wasn't meeting my needs.
EugeneLovesLife · 36-40, M
I felt the exact same way! That sluggish almost like your pulling a truck feeling. Heaviness. I hate it. We both made the right call
toddr13 · 46-50, M
@EugeneLovesLife Definitely. I think that it has been much more beneficial for me.

Nice! What made you become a vegetarian?
EugeneLovesLife · 36-40, M
This is making me want to cook now. And that sounds amazing. I have watched some youtube videos and recently went fatass and made spicy fried buffalo cauliflower with green onions and ranch dip in the side. Cot DAMN it was good. My next project is my first ever veggie burger.

@EugeneLovesLife I don't even need a recipe for veggie burgers anymore. Lol. I enjoy cooking.
EugeneLovesLife · 36-40, M
@SW-User haha you've mastered the art of the veggie burger? I need to get to your level

No thank you.
EugeneLovesLife · 36-40, M
@DeezNutz no prob
FallenxShane · 22-25, M
Are you Vegan because of health issues and allergies, or because of “saving the animals”?
EugeneLovesLife · 36-40, M
@FallenxShane health reasons as well as it just taste better to me now a days. I honestly just became not too fond of meat so i stopped eating it cold Turkey.
FallenxShane · 22-25, M
@EugeneLovesLife Good for you, I don’t have a problem with vegans, I just get annoyed at the ones who think they’re saving the animals by not eating meat
EugeneLovesLife · 36-40, M
I hear you. Nah I just enjoy being a vegetarian. It's fun to me.
