Are chicken tenders common outside the US or is that mostly an American thing?

They're chicken fingers in Canada. If I think of chicken tenders, it's the actual cut of meat from the chicken breast which you may or may not bread and deep fry.

@CountScrofula Chicken fingers are a common name here too, yeah.

@BlueMetalChick Either way, they are proof God loves us and she wants us to be happy.

@CountScrofula Just like other wonderful occurrences in this world including the existence of watermelons and all forms of shellfish.

@BlueMetalChick Totally. Them sea bugs are tasty fuckers. Lack of good seafood is one of the great miseries of living in the middle of nowhere.

@CountScrofula True but on the bright side, you’re in a cold climate, and cold water seafood is always best. So the little fish you do get is high quality.

@BlueMetalChick Yeah. I'm sad I didn't go ice fishing this past year. Although it's 90% northern pike which is a... challenging fish to eat.

@CountScrofula and a hell of a mean fish to catch

@BlueMetalChick That part I like. But I like to eat what I catch and filleting those bony fuckers is misery.
